1.1 Game Studio User Authentication

This section covers email and password authentication for Game Studio users accessing the studio account dashboard.

Game Studio accounts are separate from Player accounts and use their own authentication flow. Although they are called Game Studio accounts, they serve both Game Studios and UGC App Builders.

Two-Factor Authentication (Recommended)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is optional for Game Studio users, but strongly recommended.

• Method: TOTP (time-based one-time password), 6 digits with a 30-second rotation.
• Backup codes: Generated once at setup. Store them immediately in a secure location; they cannot be retrieved later.
